quidditchgrrl: (Hogwarts has sure gone to the dogs since)

Note to rush hour cross-town drivers:  please to be learning to drive kthx.

Now that I've been out with local friends and ready to start back to work (and subsequently have had a drink), I am much with the PR love.

Since some of you were privy to my ranting, raving and hand-wringing over this, the wedding party from hell )

It's all about the Potter love )

So I have to go back to work tomorrow and I've been drinking.  Not tipsy, but not advisable to drink, EVER.  *irons hands*

I have a vacation hangover today. My throat is scratchy and I'm just feeling slightly sick and wrung out. Maybe I should have gone into work (i.e. a "hair of the dog" way to get back on track)?

Yeah, no. I'll probably stop in tonight to drop off pralines. The Tim-Tams are mine, however. MINE, I SAY.

I uploaded lots of pictures to my MySpace. [livejournal.com profile] avidbeader, is it okay if I filch some of your pics?

Overall impressions )

Tuesday and Wednesday )

I am still in my jammies. I need to shower and work out. I also need to attempt to eat something besides Tim Tams and Diet Coke. Yes.
quidditchgrrl: (Oh God)
Am home. Exhausted to the point of puking. Cried twice on the plane. Miss everyone terribly already. Hoarse from talking so much.

Have nearly forgotten how to type. Want some crab rangoon. Do not want to log into work email.

Don't have to go into work for meeting tomorrow. Score!

*goes out for the crab rangoons* *collapses*

LAST CALL!

quidditchgrrl: (Peace)
Last call for Holiday cards! Leave your name and address here (screened).

I don't expect reciprocity, either, so don't worry about it. I'm also not a stalker-type; I can just as easily stalk you via the internets! And really, that's all the energy I'm willing to expend on stalking. The whole showing-up-at-your-door kind of stalking seems like too much effort.

In the first of what will probably be many queries about Phoenix Rising, please take THIS POLL:

[Poll #876071]

Sorry about all the emo, you all. Things aren't ALL bad!

I booked my flight for Las Vegas, so I'm officially going to Lumos! Huge hugs to [livejournal.com profile] chickadilly and [livejournal.com profile] poconell, who have been so gracious as to offer me a cut of their hotel room. Sigh. I'm happy. :D

I also registered for Phoenix Rising today! [livejournal.com profile] badonkatonks, you ARE going to Phoenix Rising, woman!

Now for LV logistics, getting to and from Cleveland-Hopkins airport (and attempting to avoid paying $15/day parking) and staying the night once I get back. I tried to drive home from Cleveland after TWH, which was nearly a suicide mission - although it wouldn't have been if Logan's radar had been working and my flight hadn't been delayed five hours. :\

This year, things will be better!

Still unsure about Prophecy 2007, not much news coming from that front, so we'll see. It's within driving distance, which is exciting.

Too many damn HP cons! Oh, the pain, the pain. :P

Exciting weekend coming up - Asian festival, Utica ice cream festival, Fringe festival - lots to do. Taking Honeybunch to see DaVinci Code, too. Could be his kind of thing (although I think he'll agree, not enough twists and turns).

Hope you all are planning fun-filled days for the weekend!

Yay!
