Quick Update, More to Come...

Dear Donna,

The biopsies of the end of the stomach showed mild gastritis. It does not explain the compressive affect that we saw at the time of endoscopy. We then obtained the CAT scan of the upper abdomen. It describes a "lobulated" soft tissue filling defect in the end of the plylorus measuring 4x3 cm. There is narrowing of the plylorus but not total gastric obstruction, which we had already found by the endoscopy. they also describe low density regional in the anterior margins of the right and left lobes of the liver thought most likely representing focal fatty infiltration. They also have two small right ovarian cysts. At this point in time, I would recommend seeing [OSU doc]...He can do an intraprocedural sound wave of this area and define whether it needs to be removed surgically and to further elucidate what this is.

*sigh* Sounds like more tests are forthcoming before I'll receive any relief. I'm surprised about the cysts although I have some irregular menstrual pain (read heinous cramps like 99% of women) it's nothing that's gotten worse.

I don't care what they do as long as they do something to help with the pain and move forward to get this resolved to my satisfaction.
