Well, finally!

Let's hope he gets in some more acting lessons to go with those pecs, eh?  :>

Have been quiet this past week or so.  I thought my blockages/adhesions/all the crap that happened at Thanksgiving last year were back.  *cue panic attacks and general freaking out*  It worked itself out *ahem* and everything is pretty much as it should be, aside from a lot more fanfare when I head to the bathroom.

What scares me is the way I immediately plunge into a sucking black hole of despair whenever I don't feel good.  I have always prided myself on having a very resilient personality, but now...Sunday I had to go and hide upstairs so I wouldn't scare Andy by having a very long crying jag/panic attack.  I have an unhealthy fear of the pain, coupled with an unhealthy fear of becoming hooked on painkillers/pharmaceuticals, and I think that dichotomy is the root of my conflict.  I am turning into my mother, slowly but surely.

But ANYWAY, I'm all better now and ready for HBP!  I've been reading OotP - for only the second time - and I've found that actually, I like it.  I am making up with CAPSLOCK!Harry and Umbridge is not nearly so annoying as a plot point the second time around.  And omgireallyreallymuststopwiththesnarryorillgonutters there is a lot of great UST tension and conflict between Harry and Snape, and I hope JKR keeps letting us see Snape's backstory.  Squee.

Hey, where did pottersandwich go?

Is there anyone in the Columbus area who *hasn't* seen Batman Returns and would want to meet up with me early Saturday afternoon to see it?  I REALLY want to see it - I love the story of Batman - but Andy doesn't.  Personally, I think he's just jealous of my mad love of Christian Bale.  And the codpiece.  :-P

I've been reading tons of stuff too, so I'll have a book review post up here soon.  I know you're all orgasmic over that.

Oh, and I have been pwned by Erasure's newest release.  Awesome stuff, good as their older material.  /new wave junkie

I went to the midnight showing at the Arena Grand. *hugs Christian Bale* I'll just say that he's like...the best batman ever:) I loved it:)

I haven't seen Batman Begins, either...but I'm also the only person in America who hasn't seen Episode III yet.
