I find it rather amusing that the original purveyor of the last old and busted wank over at bad_penny is now "Mon Dieu! Quelle horreur!" over the inevitable death threats against the people she called out.
Kind of like giving a psychotic a lead pipe, later saying, "I never thought they'd hurt anyone!" when they go on a rampage.
As some folks well know, this fandom has had death threats before. Those death threats began over ONE LINE of snark regarding a fanfic, posted in an LJ entry.
Strangely, that bit of fandom history was rather glossed over in the MsScribe/GT wank backstory. Didn't fit quite so well with Charlotte Lennox's tale of woe, I suppose.
Putting the car in reverse doesn't take the miles off, and you can't go running off at the mouth then claim that you have no hand in what comes after. Heat. Kitchen. And so on.
At least have the cojones to put things up under your original handle, ya wankers.
(Disclaimer: please don't assume that you know what my opinion of this particular historical recounting is. My opinion is rather unpopular (and don't assume that you know what that means, either). I object to the lack of context for the recounting of the wank, and for bad_penny's "I'm not a slut, I'm just popular!" reaction to the backlash.)

I don't give a care about what some people are dishing/beefing that's THREE YEARS OLD. It wasn't ongoing - someone pulled this out of their hat and started the wank going again. Thanks, wankateers!
That people believe anything that's posted on F_W as the gospel truth amazes me, especially when it's written by people who have had direct clashes with the parties they're flinging mud at. Pot? Kettle calling.
N00bs weighing in on this based solely on the reading of that tripe? Thanks for your opinion, toddle along then.
I'm upset that there are a lot of people who have been truly hurt by this. No one is in the right here, myself included. I hate to be wrong about anything, and I don't like being deceived. (Wow. That makes me almost human, doesn't it?)
I do find it amusing when people who were, at best, on the far fringes of this as it was happening are scrambling to "distance" themselves -- a distance that has always been there. (But no, if you're thinking I'm talking about you, I'm not.)
It's happened before, and it'll happen again. It's called life. We live, we learn, we resolve not to trust another person like that again. Then we do it anyway. Grab a helmet.

I am way too tired to comment on the drama and angst on the flist. Everyone has a right to have an opinion. People can tell you your opinion sucks. C'est la vie. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer, and never turn your back on either.

She was having trouble seeing out of her left eye, and her blisters were leaking. *worries* I hope she goes to the emergency room to at least have it looked at. :(

I am thoroughly pissed at my own tall man with slight overbite, as he's been screaming - literally screaming - and talking to himself all night long while watching the Miami/Florida State game. And he had the nerve to get mad at me for being in my own damn house! *steams* If I did that, there would be no end to the hell he'd raise. Pfft, men.
