I was thinking that LJ needed some excitement too, but I was sorta hoping that that it would be something other than yet another ugly stain on the H/G fandom. Seems like it is rolling in that direction yet again. I know it's just one site, but still. They seem to be what everyone thinks of when they think of the ship, unfortunately. Gah. It's a shame.

Yes, it is a shame that the H/G ship gets dragged through the mud so often because of one website and half a dozen crazies.

I've heard about those Northern Crispies - they're even more scarily inbred than their deep-fried cousins - but they just don't make the national news as often. Shame, that. Stories about Crispies amuse me.

The thing that's such a hoot about the whole thing is her notion that she thinks she can 'order' people to defriend and delete their journals. That is delusion of a serious type.

I really think this person just went to a couple people's LJs and randomly friended people to 'watch', cause there are people on the list who have very little to do with smut or NC-17 fanfic, and many others that are all about that were left off! *grin*

You're also a H/G writer, and it looks like this chick is a shipper; she's no doubt read your stuff and likes it.
