quidditchgrrlI left work early for a change, when down to our archives section, grabbed some lunch and headed home.
I am met by my fiance, who informs me that the waterbed sprang a leak this morning. He bought a new mattress, the liner did its job - but there are HUGE watermarks on the ceiling! Right now it looks like that might be the only damage so far; the plaster is just damp, not wet and not buckling or bulging. Yet.
We've put off buying renter's insurance. Damn it. So that's on my to do list for tomorrow.
'Til then, I sincerely hope that the floor/ceiling remains intact until the insurance goes into effect.
