Do you still have a shred of respect for gryffindortower? Well, this is only going to make your opinion of their shenanigans worse.

Their libelous and non-supported evidence. Considering that they called msscribe a liar, for all intents and purposes, in her use of IP addresses to identify people who'd left comments on her LJ, why would they think that their IP addresses are any more accurate?

msscribe's response. I sincerely don't know how she's staying as calm as she is.

I've been following that. It is obnoxious, and I just don't understand why they keep bringing it up. Don't they want to go off and be in their own little corner of the fandom. Fine. Go.

I have the upmost respect for msscribe. I really admire how she's handled herself through this whole thing.

Boy, what a mess. I remember reading about this a while ago and I didn't really understand what was going on (and still don't) but it does seem like its causing a bunch of grief. You really can't track IP addresses very well anymore with proxies and spoofs and everything. They'd do well to drop the matter instead of accusing people with bad evidence.
