Jan. 10th, 2006 01:20 amAck. Does anyone else hate movies made to glamourize certain institutions? My niece wants to go to Annapolis, so the movie trailer is annoying me muchly.
Friday Night Lights? Varsity Blues? Whateva. Drumline? Ok, suuure. Yargh.
Stephen + Conan = the awesome. Even better: remembering to turn the VCR to channel 3 to record TDS and TCR.
I've been watching MI-5. What is the appeal of Matthew McFadyen? He's a scrawny Clive Owen look-alike...but he's growing on me. :> I might break down and see the latest P&P movie.
As I am only 4 books into the year, and my recommended reading list is only that long. Rec me a book! A good one, mind. I don't read vampire/sci-fi/fantasy-type stuff, and I hate Nora Roberts. So, what else? Fiction, non-fiction...I'm game.
