Note to flist:  I ship just about everything in the HP-verse.  If it's well-written, and gives a good premise for the plot, I can get with it.

I do ship Ron/Hermione AND Harry/Hermione.  I see canon-based evidence for both. 

My ego is not wrapped up in any ship for any reason.  My world is not rocked by any one ship's opinion of other ships.  I don't get with the attack-dog mentality.

Would you mind horribly, filtering me away from your snarky posts?  Now that it's grown to more than 2 people trolling and snarking, it's giving me a feeling much like affront, and I don't like it.  I'm not stupid for liking a pairing that you don't, and I never go looking for people to mock when I don't agree with their OTP.

You don't have to filter, but be aware that the people who might be reading your journal, people you consider at least acquaintances, might be personally affected by your "anonymous" snark, because when you call one group stupid, you're calling me and probably other people on your flist stupid.

Thanks for your consideration.  I'm not mad, really; I won't be angry if you defriend me.  I thought you all might want to know that you're not simply lobbing verbal grenades at people you don't know.

I'm sure I know of which forum you're talking about. I don't wish to put judgegment on all the registered members, but some of them are so disgusting it hurts that they are HP fans -- if they really are to that.

I'm actually not talking about a forum on Portkey. The thread I was specifically talking about was here on LJ.

I think that we all see threads that *boggle* our minds and those are the ones we react to rather than the reasoned ones.

I read a really good one from H/Hr shippers last night. But, I'm not reacting to it because I've read the points before and I don't find them strong enough for me within the context. I can see their points (really, I can), but I am going to hang in there with my own prediction for now because, like them, I think it is strong enough for now.

Oh, I wasn't talking about the Portkey forums, either. Things might get heated in the Portkey forums, but they do have good mods and people are actually willing to discuss.

I was talking about the Harmony forums, where they have as a forum rule that Weasley bashing is encouraged, or something to the lines of that. They're making stories of the best way for the Weasleys to die and other monstrosities. I understand these forums were created because they weren't allowed to express all their evilness in the Portkey forums, and plus, Portkey is a four-shipping site and these people hate Ron and Ginny and don't care about their love lives -- they just want them dead. 0_0

Exactly. I've never criticised posts with good arguments, but there are some things that go beyond the realm of logic and with those I have to laugh. I'm sure H/Hers find lots of such posts in the R/Hr forums, too.

I was pretty much talking about the Harmonians too. (I find it highly ironic that they call themselves Harmonians - They sound like some sort of doomsday cult or alien species straight outta a dime pulp novel. Or a Kurt Vonnegut book. Take your pick.)

I was reacting to the things I see on their forums. It just blows my mind. I'm primarily an H/G shipper, and I've never seen my fellow shippers wanting JKR to whack Hermione so that Ginny can comfort Harry. They may be out there, but they are not numerous enough to form a successful site and message board.

I've seen snarky posts on R/Hr forums but never like the ones I see there. That's beyond snark. What I do is snark sometimes. I don't wish Hermione dead. I like Hermione. I need Hermione alive for femmeslashie goodness with Ginny in my other ship!
