Whew. Am home from Witching Hour Line Party/PoA Premiere.

ISPOL girls were there and giggled every time there was a Harry/Snape scene, which sent me off on tangents. I missed scenes, dammit. Or it could have been the late hour. Driving home was fun, being chased by all of the drunk drivers.

Met nice people, none of which were fandomers. Don't know if that's good or bad. Just know that Ohioans are a rather strange lot about meeting people through the internet, but that's another rant post.

Bed, I must go to bed. Have fingers oiled to begin massive weekend-long writing session, interspersed with seeing PoA a couple more times.

I walked up and down the line several times looking for your t-shirt you said you were going to wear.

I was #16 in line.

Wah! I was at the Witching Hour line party, which was at the Red Star Tavern around the corner.

Walked around several times looking for you too, but I couldn't get to the very front of the lines, which is where you were. :(

I ended up in the reserved balcony of theatre #3, and sold my tix for theatre #4 to some folks in line. We were the ones on the third floor screaming "Dumbledore's Army!"

But we should be able to meet up while Lissanne is staying with you and Lori, yes?

I was speechless for several hours after the movie. I thought it was tremendous! And we had a blast in the line talking to people.

I was in theater 5. Had I heard someone yelling "Dumbledore's Army" I would have run out to the front of the theater to encourage the yelling! :-)

Yes I think we should have a huge HP gathering when Liss gets here. I think she's going to be at our place for a couple days, at least. I'll let you know!!!

Sweet! Liss is supposed to call me once she's in the area. I think a gathering 'twould be great fun, I know so many people but not a lot of people who actually live nearby.

I really can't explain that either. Nobody ever wants to get together for a chat. I think it's a general midwestern distrust of, well, everyone.

So, about Monday? If you still want to meet us, I think we'll be hitting town around 5:30 or so. Dinner would be cool.
