Since [livejournal.com profile] allichan has made her true confession, I must make mine:

I love the new (I guess it's new, at least to me) Hillary Duff song. I do. I admit it. I'm ashamed to say everything in this house stops when the video comes on MTV Hits.

I also like Justin Timberlake's CD, but that's just because it sounds a bit like Off the Wall. Yes. :>

And, thank you [livejournal.com profile] authenticpoppy for the get well card!

And, and, everyone who is stepping back from fandom, I say good for ya! I am taking a fandom mini-vacation and it's been great. Full days away from the computer and LJ and fandom wreckage, it's been great. It's left me feeling a little less personally involved, and that's a good feeling. Fandom can be overwhelming at times, even if it's just fandom.

And, of course, I have a request. Would there be a content/continuity beta out there (or someone who is familiar with A Night in Paris) willing to look over a little scene for my next chapter and tell me if I've gone dotty with it? 'Twould take just a couple of minutes. *weedles*

ETA: Never mind! I fixed it. :)

You too funny. I could look at it if you want me to.

I wish I could stay away from the HP fandom for more than a few. But, that's like saying, you know, stay away from my friends. Why would I want to do that? I think I will just stay away from the wankers and their little wankdom. They are the ones who irritate like sand. No pearls forming down there anyway.

That's easy for me because I lurk most of the time, I guess. I feel like such a coward sometimes.

Heh. I have no idea what's new in music. I regress. The older I get the older the music I enjoy. By the time I get to retirement age I am going to be listening to people beating two rocks together and going Ugh.

LOL - working with the girls keeps my musical tastes evolving, else my musical tastes would have degenerated to Super Hits of the 70s and New Wave Hits of the 80s.

*proudly clutches her Smiths t-shirt and KISS vinyl*

And it's good to have MTV2 and MTV Hits, which actually *play videos* like MTV did back in the old days.
