Discovered my gall bladder problem may have been connected to the ice cream Honeybunch brought home last week...peanut butter fudge...40% of one's daily fat intake in one scoop! Well, who in the world eats only one scoop of ice cream? Put your hand down, you're lying.

So, my tummy feels much better. The green goblin will remain inside my body for now.

One of our Grand Deputies passed away Monday night, I found out today from one of my girls. Unfortunately, it happened during a Rainbow meeting, and impossibly, during the prayer. Not sure if she died on-scene, but it was a heart attack. Poor woman; it's really awful for the girls and advisors to have to deal with something like that happening. I'm real glad our Deputy is a younger woman!

Of course, the girl I was chatting to made some comments about how old she was (older than dirt, I have to say); I'm usually inappropriate that way anyhow. I'm going to hell for laughing, aren't I? But I'm thinking about going up for the viewing. Maybe. Yech, it's awkward. Poor Mom Corbin.

I'm trying to force myself to stay up and get some beta work out of the way, play with the Checkmated queue, and clean out my inbox. Good luck on that one. *snores*

(((Hugs))) I missed your previous post about your gall bladder. Glad it's okay for now!

The queue is S-C-A-R-Y!!! I'm afraid to go in and look at it. LOL

Yeeowch! If it's not hurting now, you probably passed a stone through the ducts. You'd know, if you had an inflammation!

Peanut-Butter Fudge?

uh, YUM...

and yikes, about the GD dying... I've heard of people dying just before/during the start of meetings/OV's here in CA... actually saw a guy keel over and die at GA one year just before ritual Closing (Grandfather of the GWAA, and it was NOT fun being told to stay in our seats as the EMTs opened his shirt and used the paddles on him at least three times before the GEC men decided to get the screens hiding the East's "backstage" and roll them across the floor to shield most of the girls from the view). Lots of girls (myself included) were freaking out, even after we were finally dismissed from the arena.

Of course, now, being in Amaranth, I hear all these horror stories every meeting during Sunshine. Currently, our GRM's hip replacement gave out, and she's on crutches (but not having surgery until after Grand Court in March); the GRP's in the hospital with some heart troubles, and the GAM had her knee operated on last month and is in a wheelchair. And that's just the Grand Line! (sigh)

Yikes! I haven't heard of anything like that happening in OH so far, or at least been witness to it. Thank goodness for small miracles. Our GRM's tend to be rather young (as in, younger than 60), so that's a Good Thing. :)
