*Is loved and luckiest girl in the world*
Dec. 24th, 2003 02:10 amFirst off, I was touched by the very thoughtful responses to last night's rant. I'm still formulating replies in return. It's nice to state an opinion and not be hung out to dry for it. *hugs flist*
Second, family gathering and Christmas pressies! My family really goes out of their way - okay, we make lists - to get each other what we really want. I got my SIL some Wallflowers from Bath and Body Works, which she liked. Gave my younger sister clandestine (since we're not supposed to buy for any other adults) gifts of saucepan and cast iron skillet. And I got a skillet!!!! Not just any ol' skillet, mind, but a Jamie Oliver Professional Series T-Fal skillet! Yeah, we're cracked; we love cookware and British boys. Dad got me the Photoshop software that I wanted; I just need a scanner, CD-R and color printer now. :-P
And Honeybunch was so excited about my gifts that he made me open them tonight (instead of our usual Christmas night opening). Hee! Pretty Shiny Thing! He bought me one of those "Past, Present, and Future" diamond necklaces. It matches my ring, and is very pretty. :D Honeybunch also bought me a set of ornaments, since we really don't have any good ones on our tree. He was too cute, bouncing up and down while I opened my presents. I got him a sweater and this jacket.
I forgot to mention: I am going to friend nearly everyone on my "friend of" list, then filter as needed, since there are some newer people on my flist, and underagers as well. I didn't want to do it, but I don't fancy letting my LJ spill over into my real life. And that could happen pretty quickly if someone's mommy caught them looking at my journal.
Also, randomly: Are you a BNF if you run around shouting "Look at me! Lookit! I'm a BNF! So there! *pffft*"? Just asking.
