1. What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before?
Traveled on an airplane.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Nope, don't make 'em.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No, thankfully. But I do have a friend who is expecting! *waves*
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, again thankfully.
5. What countries did you visit?
No, see #1 above.
6. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003?
More money (which I'll be getting) and more job satisfaction (that's a sure thing)
7. What date from 2003 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
More than anything else, I always remember April 20th, the anniversary of the Columbine attacks. It represents a line crossed in American life when popular culture overtook reality.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Becoming Mother Advisor of the local Rainbow Assembly.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not taking care of my diabetes as well as I ought.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing too serious.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My plane ticket to Orlando. :D
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Yours.
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
My oldest brother's.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Student loans and car payments.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Nimbus 2003, Order of the Phoenix
16. What song will always remind you of 2003?
"Why Can't I" by Liz Phair, or one of those god-awful Evenescence songs.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you happier or sadder?
Happier, definitely.
ii. thinner or fatter?
About ten pounds thinner! :D :D
iii. richer or poorer?
Po' as usual, same as last year.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Writing & working out.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Eating & worrying about my family
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
At my sister's house.
22. Did you fall in love in 2003?
With Orlando Bloom! :-P
23. How many one night stands?
Hah!
24. What was your favourite TV programme?
I Love the 70s/I Love the 80s Strikes Back, hands down.

I avoid people I hate. Hm, I don't think so.
26. What was the best book you read?
Order of the Phoenix
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
That Liz Phair's album didn't suck nearly as bad as I thought it might.

I got to go to Nimbus, I got a new and better job.

To get married this year, to not have car payments for a year.
30. What was your favourite film of this year?
Bend It Like Beckham
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I worked on my 28th birthday.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
10 million dollars.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2003?
Laid-back and casual, just like every other year!
34. What kept you sane?
Honeybunch, you all.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Johnny Depp has been on my hot list since Cry-Baby and 21 Jump Street. The addition of eyeliner only enhanced his appeal. ;-)
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
What didn't? Anything to do with "defense of marriage" - at this point I'm leaning toward expunging civil unions altogether rather than keep excluding certain groups - or gay rights. I remain incensed about standardized testing for young children in this state, and about different public-school-related items (hazing, racism, bullying). The Dubya stuff was just icing.
37. Who did you miss?
My mom.
38. Who was the best new person you met?
