quidditchgrrlI'm still feeling mixed emotions about the capture of Saddam. Paged through a couple dozen news sites trying to figure out if this was strategic capture. Decent brother is not home. Woe. I hate not knowing things. I want my clearance back!
All I can hope for is that our side keeps our wits and humanity about us and not stoop to the same tactics Saddam employed during his rein of terror.
And was anyone giving the big eyeroll when the media pundits kept harping on the WMDs? Jebus, if the 101st can find a guy in a hole and the US hasn't located the supposedly *huge* quantities of chemical weapons Dubya assured us Iraq has...it doesn't take a fricken rocket scientist to figure it out.
Currently reading Why America Slept. Yeah, I'm feeling a teensy bit pessimistic about all of this.
