I'm tired, so tired...

Everyone here at work today seems to have a thousand pounds on their shoulders and huge bags under their eyes. We're worried like everyone else. Our associate manager is back for the week (he was called up to active duty for a year) and we're expecting some sort of e-mail briefing before the end of the day.

mareisse, a lot of us had sleepless nights last night too. I feel you there.

It's times like this that make me wish that I didn't have a conscience for anyone other than myself and I could be happy in my bubble of trivial banality and watch 'American Idol'. Instead I'm worrying about our troops over in the middle east and the Iraqi people, both of whom are surely going to bear the terrible cost of war.

Found this in the comments section for the "I wish for peace" post in northbard's LJ. It's been about the only thing that has made me smile today! Well, that and the idea of writing a HP "Sk8tr Boi" songfic.

Yeah, I like Orli much better as a dark-haired boy. And love the cowboy pic, obviously. Mmmm, cowboys. Despite my Draco-obsession, blonds don't tend to do much for me. I thought I'd see what he looked like under that wig after FotR came out, and very much liked what I found. ;) He's so purdy!
