You know, I see commercials for sleeping pills like Ambien, and I think, "man, I might want to get some of those." Then I read the fine print, which indicates that the medication only be taken when you can sleep for 7-8 hours.

Now, if I had time to sleep for seven or eight hours, I wouldn't need Ambien, now would I?

I adore Ambien and I hardly ever get 8 hours of sleep. I usually get around 6 or so hours.

The problem is that it won't fix the sleep time problem. If you wouldn't need it...I'm confused. I only got four hours of sleep last night.

Dang! I was wondering why the Ambien doesn't seem to be working anymore. It puts me to sleep just fine but I can't seem to stay asleep. I keep waking up during the night.

Sort of - I work 9-5:30 most days, but I have to work 1-9 on others. It messes my circadian rhythms up a bit!
