First french fries. Then french toast. Now the Dixie Chicks are being boycotted for speaking out against Dubya and the war against Iraq.

So a bunch of folks in Looosiana decided to run a semi over their CDs. How is this hurting the Dixie Chicks (I assume that these CDs were purchased at the local Wal-Mart) again?

I'm soooo glad you brought this up. I am simply SICK over what's going on with the Dixie Chicks. Someone tell me why in hell they should have to apologize for EXERCISING THEIR CONSTITUTIONAL-GIVEN RIGHT OF FREE SPEECH???? So they don't support King George's rah-rah war bandwagon, and this makes them bad people?? This means we shouldn't listen to their music or buy their CDs?

I see, so we throw our weight around the rest of the world, telling them how we live in the land of the free and we have all sorts of rights that other countries don't give their citizens, and yet when our citizens exercise their right, they're either unpatriotic or will be shunned. Huh. So that's how it works.

You can say, 'with liberty and justice FOR ALL', but do you really mean it? I've thought about it, and I do. Not just for me and my family, but for John Walker Lindh, John Lee Malvo, Jose Padilla, and every person being held without charges. If it isn't for all, it isn't for anybody. Arrogant gits.
