Mar. 11th, 2003 12:45 pmI have found that I have to eat lunch in my cube now because of stinkin' Dubya and this blasted 'war on terror'. Here there are two schools of thought - one, from the older men, former Army/Marine grunts who never made it up rank, that the US should do whatever the hell we want - we're Amerrricans! Then there are the rest of us, the highly educated, the officers and former officers, who understand that we're up to our eyeballs in shit here. Not that I don't want to join the debate, it just gives me heartburn!
Something I can say for certain:
Saddam Hussein has not been stockpiling weapons. He has approximately what he did at the end of the Gulf War. How do I know this? Our head management did the recon analysis and wrote the report for the US. There is no evidence. Period. And when good ole Georgie Boy or General Powell says that there is, things here get tense. Scientists don't typically enjoy talking out of our asses, nor having those words shoved into our mouths. Leaves quite the bad taste.
I'd tell you more, but then I'd have to have your memory altered.
