Ack, I've turned (have always been?) into the person who only blogs when she's feeling emo and goth and stuff.

Yesterday's high has bottomed out, and now I feel pretty damned hopeless.  Potential job is no longer probable, I can't seem to get anything right anymore.  Blah, blah, blah.

So what's good?  I still have a job, I have my second job, my car still runs, I'm not pregnant, my husband hasn't run off with Claire Danes, I got my hair cut (and it looks CUTE), and I'm going to run my arse off after work tonight.

Pity party over.  So, cheer me up (and maybe yourself, too) - what's GOOD in your life?  What upcoming event are you excited about - Portus, Terminus, vacation?

*hugs you* Keep the faith, hun!

Life is good in general. Can't complain.

Speaking of Portus--we need to get a hotel room! Email me!

Hey, we all need to be emo sometimes. *hugs* I sure know I tread that line more often than I'd like.

Good things: It's Friday, I'm doing Chick-Fil-A for lunch, and despite yet ANOTHER round of tornadic weather in my vicinity last night, my home and car still haven't blown away. ;)

Yikes, Portus really is coming up soon, isn't it? I guess I need to start begging for people to split a room with. ;)

Well, despite the craziness, and current health ooginess, other things are great. The new house, Jim sold his, I got a job interview in Russell a week from today.

We're so excited about getting the new house and starting our life being together. I just need to get my health back on track.

Hang in there hon!

Haircuts are usually very hit or miss, so I'm excited that I'm still peacocky about my new cleopatra-y cut. :> And I am glad you are cute in your new haircut, too! What does it look like? Very different or a fresher upper?

Sunday the husband (three months, eeeee!) and I and two people who are quickly becoming great friends are going to go to Busch Gardens in Tampa. The drive will be just long enough to have a roadtripping good time. Then on the way home we're going to try to find a restaurant that serves yummy chicken wings. I always feel nervous and awkward about eating them but end up enjoying myself with reckless twang.

Suspicions are high that this is going to be the last weekend before the grass is hot enough to burn yo feet in the FL, so I am gung ho to enjoy the niceness while it lasts. :>

What's good right now? Let's see... rehearsals are going GREAT, and I've got lots of people saying they can't wait to see the play. I'm meeting some cool new people, and I'm wearing my favorite Chucks (cream colored with orange flowers), we get a cool front today so this weekend should be AWESOME, my hair looks utterly FAB today, my cats rock, my flist rocks and I'm realizing that I'm pretty fucking cool. Most people call me crazy, but the good kind of crazy. So that's something. At least I'm not boring!

Other awesome things:
"She's So Cold" by the Stones
Clementines
Sunflowers
Jasmine (which is in bloom right now and OMG I love it)
Tiki torches
Grilling vegetables on the hibachi
Gorgeous starry nights
Driving around at night with the windows down and great tunes

Haha, oh, sweetie! >:D< *big hugs* Srsly, when I posted to my own journal last night, I was thinking this EXACT. SAME. THING. But, you know, I needed to vent. And so do you, so feel free!

Well, I'm looking forward to seeing Duran Duran on the 12th and Peter Murphy in early June. A group of us ended up getting tickets to the LA Yaz show in July, so I'm looking forward to a small trip to So. Calif. Saturday is my son's 10th birthday and I'm looking forward to him having a good day :D

Still debating Portus.

A good hair cut is always something to be happy about! I bet it looks great. I remember you having lovely hair to begin with.

Something good....My boss gave us a small jet boat. We went and picked it up today. I see lots of afternoons on the water this summer. Should be a fun way to spend the season. If not, then plenty of photo opportunities. :)

You and I seem to be in sync right now - I know *exactly* how you feel.

Something good, let's see - have bought our tickets home (but still have to worry about the cats) and I'll be spending Hallowe'en in the US, which I will be hella excited about as the time draws nearer. I'm still sick so I don't have much enthusiasm right now, but I will!
