quidditchgrrl: (Jon Stewart = true patriot)

Okay, you all - if you're so inclined (and it's Friday, so be inclined, it's the weekend!), ask me a question.  About anything.  And I'll answer truthfully.

Also, I hope that Edwards has been asked to run for veep for either Hillary or Obama.  It'll be a clusterfuck, but I'm ready for anyone who is not a crazed right-wing elitist.  Crazed left-wing elitist, that's a given, but I'll be damned if John Fucking McCain is going to run this country.

I can haz Jon Stewart 4 prez?

(Also, has anyone noticed the government has cut back on food subsides - meaning that food prices seem to be going up quite a bit?  Oh yeah, another recession bump timed to hit...about this time next year!  Hooray.)

Want to see the weirdest thing ever? Go here. Isn't that bizarre? Obama rates a nine and McCain rates a 6. If McCain is elected at least it it won't be at the behest of the evangelicals. OTOH, keeping the office sane while in office will require a fair amount of cooperation with the RR, so he will have to do more than a little butt-kissing.

That's my big issue. The thing is, McCain is more likely to keep the RR happy by appointing Religious Morons to judiciary seats that will have lasting consequences far beyond his term of four years.

I'm so tired of fighting, D. Do you ever get tired of fighting?

Oh yes, I am exhausted from fighting everyday, all the time.

I do see Obama as more common-sensical - meaning he won't allow Crazy Xtians to be nominated. I hope - the country can't take much more of this.
