It's amazing how much more I read when I have hours to kill in front of the computer rather than 30 minutes to skim the flist and hit Fark before bed.

Now I remember the good part of my job at Bowels of Hell - time to peruse the internets and time to write!

I have Diet Orange Crush, which is...ahh. So good! (former) RC Cola products FTW!

A great article about Stephen Colbert. Although I think that, right now, Stephen is probably catching up on his sleep during the strike! Poor Stephen sometimes looks like he's dancing on the fine edge of exhaustion.

Jamie Oliver is coming back to Food Network! Yay! At least he looks like he eats his food (unlike Sandra Lee and Giada DeLauretiis).

OMG! Someone else thinks about those two the way I do. They eat one bite and they are done for the day. OH, and don't get me started on tablescapes....

I prefer watching someone cook that actually might eat and enjoy their food, like Ina Garten and Paula Deen (until Paula started cackling like a menopausal chicken all the time. I do still watch her older shows, the ones before she got married and she was "normal".)

Ahahaha, you are so right on about Paula going a little weird after she got married!

I like Alton, Ina (although they've pulled a bunch of her eps :(), and anything featuring Tyler Florence (who I dislike personally but MAN, he's hot).

But yes, if all they do is put a teeny-tiny bit of food in (Sandra Lee!), I call shenanigans!

Dude. I love Jamie Oliver! And his stuff is stuff I'd actually cook. I also love the Barefoot Contessa and Paula Deen. Sandra Lee must be fucking some food network executive. I loathe her. Alton Brown and Duff Goldman rock my world, though!
