If there is one thing I love, it's (wait, there's more than one) when a guest appears on TDS and a) doesn't wear 10# of makeup and b) can make Jon say "you turned it around, sonuvabitch!"

You'd think that guy was a former White House Press Secretary, or something.  :-)

It's morbid, but I thought it was great that Tony, for once, actually looked like a person undergoing treatment for cancer.  I do hope he gets better.

OH JESUS, were they REALLY debating/deciding that Al Gore is "too heavy" to win the presidental election?  Whatevs.

So Al Gore is too heavy? Does that mean I can say that Fred Thompson is too stupid/lazy/incurious to be President?

Well, no, because you'd be commenting on substance rather than the superficial, which is out of spec with political campaign law!

Wow.

This will show you *exactly* where my brain goes.

Re: Al Gore is "too heavy" to win the presidental election

I nodded in agreement when I read the entry.

Then after I read the comments I realized that they were talking about his physical weight and not about his METAphysical weight. I think he's to heavy when he speaks, he takes himself (and life in general) far too seriously. The dude has zero sense of humor. None. Even when he tries to be funny, he shows that he sees humor in practically nothing. I can't believe they were talking about his weight. This country is flipping ridiculous. What's wrong with his weight? He's a big guy.

So, is Stephen going to run or not?
