RULES: Each player of this game starts off with 10 weird things/habits about yourself. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 10 weird habits/things as well as state this rule clearly. At the end you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names.

1:  My family were the first people to own a PC in our county.

2:  I tend to experience future events in my dreams.  And I know which dreams are clairvoyant and which aren't, but I'm never 100% sure when they'll come to fruition.

The first time I was aware of this, I was 19.  I'd had a dream about being out with a large group of friends (one of whom I'd just met), sitting across from one particular guy named Jeff.  The discussion turned to...I don't remember, about sex, skin mags, or somesuch.  Jeff began mocking the fact that I subscribed to Playgirl (which I had just signed up for when I had the dream), and I turned to the person sitting next to me (who was the new girl from the dream), and said, "it's not like he doesn't bring home strippers every weekend."

It was literally like a filmstrip started up, replaying my dream in real time.  I was completely, utterly freaked out.  Now, since I can recognize these dream "bits" while I'm dreaming, they are a lot less disturbing, and I've tried to use them to remember what happened in my dream while it's happening for the second, but real, time.  It does tend to involve meeting new people, more often than not - I "meet" them in my dream, then again later in real life.

I find this pretty cool.

3:  OSU was not even on my radar when I applied to college.  I went to OU first (they gave me a full scholarship).

4:   I've watched MTV since the first day it aired, and it's rare that I don't watch at least a few minutes of some MTV-based network each day.  At least it's not reality TV.

5:  One of my first memories is watching Star Wars in the theatre with my brothers.  I was not quite three years old.

6:  I sent a letter to Bush I asking to have my American citizenship revoked, at the start of the first Gulf War.

7:  I grew up behind a cemetary.  I love just about everything about the dead, but the hands get me every time.

8:  My personality contains the most annoying trait to the same sex:  I really don't care what other people think of me.  Drove my mother batty, as she couldn't cajole me into behaving with the dogmatic, "don't you care what [person x] thinks about you?"  Well, no.  And other women hate it when they can't get you to bow to peer pressure or agree with sketchy behavior by insinuating that you're somehow aberrant when you don't go with the flow for the sake of being "nice."

9:  I've performed CPR on my mother.

10:  Womb transplants?  Butt babies?  Sometimes, even I can't make sense of Stephen Colbert.

Your dream thing? Kind of freaky, but in a really awesome sort of way.

Also, I was the same way with my mother about caring what other people thought. It honestly used to baffle me (I understand her POV more now, though I still don't totally agree) that someone would do something they didn't want to do just to not be "talked about".

He totally has not been shaving his hands. Thank you, Overhead Camera Shot.

It would be freakier if I could predict bad things, or things that happen to other people, but no. Or, not yet. :S

I want you to have predicted meeting your husband. Say it's so.

Unfortunately, no. Or, not really.

I did have a dream about him before we started dating that was in a place I'd never been (the Super Dome) doing something we'd never done, and with someone I'd yet to meet. At the time I was a little confused about why I would be dating Andy if we weren't planning to date in real life, but I figured it would work itself out.

And it did.
