My eye doctor tried to give me B&L products last month when I got my lenses. I flat out refused, stating I hated B&L because their saline irritated my skin. So they gave me the brand I use instead.
I'm not clicking on that link for avoiding-vomiting reasons, but dude, I just went to the eye doctor yesterday for my yearly checkup, and he told me that my eyelids are inflamed from wearing the same pair of two-week contacts for the past SEVEN MONTHS.
Damn. I should probably ditch mine then. I've had them for, mmn, two years? They were two-week wear-n-ditch originally . . . but hey, man, my eye doctor told me aeons ago that there isn't any difference between daily and extended wear soft contacts except the price.
Hmmn, still, I'm sure my Rx has changed in two years. ::ponders::
::actually clicks on link out of curiosity:: Oh shit! ::checks purse, screams, throws away solution:: I've been using that ReNu with moisture-whatever! ::waves hands helplessly:: Gah. Eye doctor appointment. A.S.A.P.
::mumbles to herself and promises to actually take her contacts out every night instead of leaving them on for weeks at a time::
