Damn, my feet hurt. Had to work the full twelve hours today. Half the staff is sick, it seems, on any given day. And I am not cruel enough to leave the department with only four people on a Monday night.

I just wonder how in the *hell* I managed to work three jobs (yes, all at once), go to school full-time, take care of my mom, and party like a normal college co-ed for five years without dying. Now, 10 hours is pushing it for me. I made three cash register mistakes and could barely hit the keys hard enough to make the damn computer work. I'm so old. Hell, I can barely function on 5 hours of sleep. *cries*

Boring work stuff, feel free to skip )

Has anyone ever compared The One-Minute Manager with The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People? I'm a big proponent of principle-centered leadership, while my boss likes the in-your-face mentality of the One-Minute philosophy. I wonder if the two can be integrated - lose the confrontational nature of One-Minute and firm up the structure of the Seven Habits - and still have a very easy to work system. Anyone? Bueller? Or does anyone work under a different system that they are happy with?

Nothing interesting of note lately. Have not worked on ANIP for a couple of days. [livejournal.com profile] 1anonymous1, sorry I keep missing you on AIM. Will be on more after Wednesday, I think.
