ETA: It does remind me of eating lunch at Nimbus with chickadilly, hastyent and a couple from Alabama. The couple was so new to the fandom they had never even been beyond The Leaky Cauldron. You can imagine the three of us trying to explain fandom. The two of them were like O.o the entire time. I think we took them through slash, twincest, and the GT wankage before we got our checks.
