Have done fuck-all today. Spent the morning looking at crazy redneck fundies the response from so-called Christians in queerasjohn's and msscribe's comments. But here, you can see that not all Christians feel the same way as killiganhashope. So rock on, msscribe, you are the mistress of the universe. John still gets to wear the tiara, though.

Found someone outside the fandom to friend *gasp* - endogenousardor, who linked me to a neat article by David Brin. I have been accused of leaning so far Left that I swing Right, and although I'm more a humanist than a libertarian, I definitely have warm fuzzy feelings for anyone who believes in intellectual and personal freedom.

I made a half-hearted attempt to work on something resembling fanfic, but was required to look through inventory most of the morning. Damn job. Must write breakthrough article that will catapult me to the heights of fame and glory and independent wealth. *looks at pile of work on desk* Or maybe I should just get on with my day before I get fired.
