An update! Just about everyone else is sleeping off the effects of the weekend, I reckon.

The Good:

I think the good can be summed up in one word: Lissanne. And another: Melissa. My birthday was 100% awesome, especially since they came from the other side of the city to see GoF and have dinner with me. I am always overwhelmed when anyone goes out of their way for me!

I met [livejournal.com profile] parkergray, who was the "special guest" of the weekend, though I didn't actually put 2+2 together until Saturday. *is clueless*

Being picked up by [livejournal.com profile] smilie117 and [livejournal.com profile] eibbil_libbie at the mall and hijacked driven back to Melissa's, who lives in my dream house! I tried not to stare. :)

There was enough H/Hr goodness to satisfy me, and enough ship debate over the weekend (with [livejournal.com profile] smilie117, [livejournal.com profile] eibbil_libbie, [livejournal.com profile] angiej, [livejournal.com profile] parkergray, [livejournal.com profile] quidditchmom, [livejournal.com profile] lissannej, and [livejournal.com profile] zsazsa101) to keep me deep in thought for a while.

I still like the Harry/Ginny relationship in HBP.

Two words: Viktor Krum. Two more: Cedric Diggory. Then: Neville Longbottom! :-9

Sitting in front of several gay men at the Columbus premiere; the hoots and hollers for Viktor and Cedric weren't all female! :D

Feeling like a fifth wheel at the premiere dinner. Thank goodness there are still a few people in the group who aren't about drama.

Emma and Dan's acting. Maybe HPEF could spring for a new acting coach for those two? Egad.

How is the movie canon ever going to even touch the true canon story arc after GoF?!? I shudder to think.

My chin rivals Tom Felton's for the number of pimples. I feel half my age; I don't even have pimple cream anymore. Yargh! >:O

Emma, Bonnie, and Clemence need a sandwich. Or a taco. Dan could stand with a few more calories, too.

I have to get some sleep so I can be at the hospital by 9; my sister goes in at 10 and hopefully it'll just be me, my BiL and sister for a little while.

Friday after Thanksgiving, I am off work (though I have to rush home on Thanksgiving night to work). I think I'll spend the day seeing movies.

LOL, I was like, what? Make a paste or eat them?!

I shall try that; it's not getting better yet.

Hee! That was just awesome that we bumped into you at the mall as we were walking back from the restroom to get our Starbucks drinks. The Gryffindor scarf stood out and I was like Donna?! - poked Libbie and said it's Donna! and she was like Donna? and turned to where I was looking and was like Donna! :D hehehe Then we kidnapped hijacked invited you along to kill some time before the movie showing. *nods* Melissa's house was so cool. :)

I think the good can be summed up in one word: Lissanne. Awwwww, that is very sweet of you to say! I'm *so* glad you were able to make the drive across. Will have some photos to send you soon!

What a sweetie! it was so great meeting you too, and you will forever live in my memory because you received the majority of my idiotic comments during my first-ever GoF screening :) I was so glad you were able to make it. As for the dream house, thanks :) Although it's often more of a nightmare house than a dream one ;)

I hope we can get together again!

*hugs*
Melissa

Your house rocked! Just the kind of place I hope to have someday (I am determined not to buy a crackerbox new-build house).

Thanks so much for helping get this weekend together; I wish I could have stayed through Saturday too!
