quidditchgrrlWow - is it sad that it's midnight, I'm already home from a party, and totally exhausted? I did work today, but woo. Gettin' old.
I've been quiet this week due to work being the suck - I have never in all my time working for the library, actually disliked my job. There've been problems, sure, but I've never been given a demand from above that was both intractable and took my decision-making power from me. But it all worked out in the end and I went to work this morning feeling much better.
My uterus wasn't having such a great day though, and I've got a half-empty bottle of ibuprofen to vouch for that (seriously, I took close to 30 of them in the past 18 hours). My stomach is also asking to view what it's eaten tonight.

midnightcircle's house with assorted friendlies (madlori, rachet, pattinthehatt, among others) and very yummy food. It's nice to be out and have no pressure to be a social butterfly; small group discussion is my cuppa. Funny that most of us engaged in some sort of introverted activity for a time - I zoned out and watched TV for a while, people checked their email, Lori and Rachel picked up nearby reading material - then rejoined whatever conversation was going on nearby.
Best part of the night: watching Wisconsin score against Michigan with less than a minute to go. Badgerbadgerbadgerbadgerbadgerbadgerbadgerbadgerbadgerbadgerbadgermushroommushroom! \:D/
Have to work tomorrow, no day comp day off this week. Grump. Witching Hour in t-minus 13 days!
