Today was a rather eventful day. Honeybunch and I met one of his friends at Jacobs Field for the Indians/Rangers game, and the Tribe actually won! :D That was worth the ten minutes I spent throwing up the ham and pineapple pizza I had for lunch (and missing Coco Crisp's double and other cool field events). Ronnie Belliard got knocked out (he ran into the umpire's breast plate full-speed), which was scary - it's very scary to see someone come to a complete and utter stop and not move at all for ten or so seconds.

I got a call on the way home from my boss (I almost didn't answer it, thinking she might demand I come in and work tonight) and we're not launching our new library system (Horizon, for you library folks out there) because their patron web interface doesn't work, among other sundry things that are screwed up.

Thank GOD we didn't go live over Labor Day weekend - my library is trying to get a levy passed and there is no way we'd get our money if our webPAC crashed. So now we're looking at mid-November. I think we're all breathing a big sigh of relief, anyway - there was a lot of stuff that came out wonky in training and we weren't sure how the company was going to address them in the next two weeks. *whew*

I picked up my Protonix prescription, of which I will have no more until I go in to my doctor for a physical. Those blackmailing bastards - they're holding my quality of life hostage, and that pisses me off. Grr.

I keep forgetting I have to work tomorrow. After work is the Violent Femmes concert with hastyent; I am soooo excited! Gordon Gano is an emo god for the ages.

Oh, and if you haven't checked out londonsburning's HBP parody, you might as well because it'll be everywhere by the end of the evening.
