Sociopath

You are 85% Rational, 0% Extroverted, 85% Brutal, and 57% Arrogant.

You are the Sociopath! As a result of your cold, calculating
rationality, your introversion (and ability to keep quiet), your
brutality, and your arrogance, you would make a very cunning serial
killer. You care very little for the feelings of others, possibly
because you are not a very emotional person. You are also very
calculating and intelligent, making you a perfect criminal mastermind.
Also, you are a very arrogant person, tending to see yourself as better
than others, providing you a strong ability to perceive others as weak
little animals, thus making it easier to kill them. In short, your
personality defect is the fact that you could easily be a sociopath,
because you are calculating, unemotional, brutal, and arrogant. Please
don't kill me for writing mean things about you!

To put it less negatively:

1. You are more RATIONAL than intuitive.

2. You are more INTROVERTED than extroverted.

3. You are more BRUTAL than gentle.

4. You are more ARROGANT than humble.

Compatibility:

Your exact opposite is the Hippie.

Other personalities you would probably get along with are the Spiteful Loner, the Smartass, and the Capitalist Pig.

If you scored near fifty percent for a certain trait (42%-58%), you
could very well go either way. For example, someone with 42%
Extroversion is slightly leaning towards being an introvert, but is
close enough to being an extrovert to be classified that way as well.
Below is a list of the other personality types so that you can
determine which other possible categories you may fill if you scored
near fifty percent for certain traits.

The other personality types:

The Emo KidIntuitive, Introverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Starving ArtistIntuitive, Introverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

Fixating on Lost for a bit.  Seems like I am the only one out here feeling the Kate love.  That woman kicks some ass and is a serious manipulator.  I love that!  I am also rooting for evil!Charlie next season.

Oh,

How were we supposed to know that the people on the boat where "the Others"?  I didn't see anything that made it obvious.  Hm.  I'm curious, because I assumed they were pirate-y types (and they had a gas-powered boat).

I'm not a big fan of Kate - it's like the writers can't get her character straight. When she's the manipulator she's interesting, but otherwise she kind of bores me. Hee on evil!Charlie!! Although I have a fondness for sweet!Charlie, although it could be boring pretty fast.

I don't know if the boat people are the others, but I suspect so, because they were in the viscinity of the island, they took the child (Rousseau said the others took her child, so I'm guessing there's a pattern there), and they were creepy-as-hell. Although not what I expected as the others. They were creepy in a sort of dueling banjos, you got a purty mouth kind of way.

Although I did think that when they filmed the interaction, that the boat people sort of had that manner of movement as Ethan did - super-fast during the action parts - creepy weird.

Something in one of those memes has broken your entry page. Looks like it might be a wrongly defined space tag. I'm seeing scrollbars and the like, looks really weird in my browser. :)

I thought they were the Others because of their general attitude. They seemed creepy, fixated on Walt, totally unsurprised to find people floating around on a raft in the middle of the ocean, it was like they knew about the plane crash...just lots of little things that seemed off. Though mostly it was their attitude about Walt. The Crazy Frenchlady said "They want the boy" or something like that, and everyone assumed she meant the baby, but Walt is a boy too. One with spooky, creepy powers. And after burning the first raft, he did an about face and wanted off that island really, really badly. So I just assumedt hat since they wanted to steal him, along with all the other stuff, that they must be the Others.

Thanks - I found and fixed it!

That totally makes sense - I was surprised when the boats came together so quickly - but if the Others already knew they were there...

But I don't see the loss of Walt as a hugely bad thing, other than he gave Michael a reason to live.

On your spoilery questions. I gathered that they were Others because basically, they were:

1. Ultra creepy.
2. Rather close to the island.
3. I got the feeling that from the strange looks out over the water, that either Jin or Walter had heard the boat.
4. They asked for Walt.

Now, the Walt thing was kinda strange, but here's my thoughts. Rosseau had they "they want the boy" issue going on. She assumed they were talking about the TurnipHead Now Named Aaron. She took them and then said Well, they're gone. I must be wrong.

We all know Walt is a creepy evil!like boy who makes others die and suffer.

Yes, they had a gas powered boat. That is fishy, but these people have been on that island for who knows how long. I bet they have the ability to keep in touch with mainland.

Everything about that screams the Others. Not to mention, the Others are a little more sophisticated then we thought, because of the security system.
