So, lack of time and money kept me from [livejournal.com profile] kaputla's Hedwig show.  >:O

Instead of Hedwig, we watched Alien Vs. Predator and The Grudge.  The former was actually not bad, but at times unintentionally funny.

The Grudge is going to keep me up all night.  There were points during the film I was sobbing into my hands, I was so scared.  *looks around nervously*

I can't sleep, naturally, and my cat is making those freaky sounds just like the movie.  :S

T-minus 8 hours until I have to be up and ready to deal with my girls for the day.  *headdesk*

So, I heard that The Grudge is horrible. Are you sure that's not why you were sobbing?

It wasn't so bad, Sarah Michelle Gellar aside.

I'm big on Eastern geomancy, house spirits and such.

The previous owner of the house I grew up in hung herself in what was the garage at the time. Staying up late to type a paper in the den was never so frightening!

So, yeah, I was feeling the freaky chick aura.

Eeeeek! I feel for you. I won't watch The Grudge, and there's no way in hell I'm watching The Ring or the sequel. Not unless I suddenly go insane and wish to inflict psychological torture on myself and others around me, because I'd definitely turn into a basket case of paranoia and despair.

Hey, so, I had a dream about you last night. It concerned your eyes. Before I tell you about it, though, I need to know if you have any weird eye problems that cause you pain when people talk about them.

Nope, thankfully, no eye problems that intensify when they're mentioned.

I do get sympathy pangs when anyone mentions corneal ulcers, though. Having a hole in your eyeball sucks big time.
