Nah, it's not ElJay, it's me finally responding to two-month-old comments!
I've been interested in UU for a bit, since I learned they aren't a Christian church. I offically gave up Christianity (as in, I quit wondering why I didn't believe any of it) almost 4 years ago.
The problem is I don't want to tithe. So trite, it's true. I believe in work, not payout, I guess. *shrug* And that's something that IS universal about Universal Unitarianism.
Ooh, and adhesive allergy sounds awful. I think my trouble was more with the fibers in the tape itself irritating my skin. Scars from tape? Owcchy. :(
