Grr. Argh.

I've created a monster. The other day I was thinking about Hogwarts' Houses and sorting and personality types, mainly because I was utterly frustrated at my staff. "What a bunch of fucking Hufflepuffs," I thought. Oh yes, you can delineate most people into the various Houses. Our department is roughly 75% Hufflepuff, with a Ravenclaw here and there, a Gryffindor or two, and one lone Slytherin. I'm (contrary to my screename) a Ravenclaw with Slytherin tendencies, so you can imagine my irritation when one of my more 'creative' staff members literally acts out a 'welcome to the library' speech. This is something that most people can accomplish quickly and efficiently with enthusiam. But noooo, she doesn't feel she is giving good service unless she has gone over the entire brochure with all the dramatic stylings of John Gielgud. Jesus H. -.-

I made the mistake of mentioning this to my boss, who thinks that we should all be 'sorted' at the next department meeting using an amalgamation of the Myers-Briggs personality typing and Hogwarts psychology. The Children's department has a sorting hat of some type we can use. So it's been dumped into my lap, to my incredible joy. Fortunately I've done the big department meetings before. I am still kicking myself for ever mentioning it though.

Nothing exciting of note happening. Feeling much better this week (sorry I've been so busy, hastyent - I promise to give you a call soon) other than the sinus stuff that happens during the weather swings. Have been watching the PoA trailer on a constant loop. Strangely not doing too much perving - I feel a little betrayed by my hormones - I may be ejected from the Bad Place.
