I have zero sympathy for the woman, but you'd think she'd have cracked long before now, yeah?

My suspicion has always been on the dad...maybe they are sweating her to see what he does? I dunno...I think that they are scary irresponsible and should have had the twins taken away, but I don't think that the mom really could have killed her own child.

The dad definitely could have. He was the last person meant to have seen her, and there is something Scott Peterson-ish about him...my pet theory is that he wasn't really checking on the kids when he was slipping off...

I agree.

I do sympathize with her for the loss of her child (no one deserves that), but what they did was so utterly stupid, I feel nothing but anger toward them for Madeleine's disappearance. Have these people never heard of "Take-out"? I'm sure they have that in Portugal.

I don't think the parents did it though. The police are exploring all options, and this is the what the media loves.
