From the "getting old" files: I went to Sephora yesterday to buy a glycolic acid face wash. Face is exfoliated within an inch of its life, which makes the zits on my forehead stick out. A lot. Also, ow. I am thirty, but also fifteen, inside and out.

I finally had real sushi last night with [livejournal.com profile] rlanto and some people from my spinning class. Very good, sushi, my tongue says. My stomach is not quite convinced that one should eat raw food.

Also, Foley? They KNEW about this sick fuck? Glad to know the Republicans have cornered the market on morality to show the rest of us how "good" people conduct themselves when a person is found to have behaved in an unethical, possibly criminal way.

See, I agree. Once again, The Point is completely eluding people. Yes, it's icky, the crime itself, but the real issue is the coverup. How are more people not demanding resignations from those who knew about it and allowed it, because it would cause political 'trouble' - WTF is that?

Apparently, Foley himself was a bit of a moderate on social issues, so you know, we can't really accuse him for being a hypocrite on --- Oh, wait! Yes we can - he was the one blasting Clinton left and right during the Lewinsky days, decrying Clinton's poor family values and compromised morality. Whew! And here I thought I was gonna have to suck it up.

I am so fracking embarrassed to be a Floridian! WTF? Top Republicans knew this shite was going down? At least when we Democrats et. al. ask another person, "Do I make you horny, baby?" we aren't standing at the pulpit while doing it. Fracking hypocrites...

I'm shocked and disappointed that he has not been arrested yet...::shakes head::

Oh yeah, I'm an Ulta ho the way you ho-out to Sephora...

Wordy McWord. It reminds me a bit of the sexual abuse scandals in the Catholic Church the last few years. A lot of the higher clergy (bishops, cardinals) knew it was going on but covered it up and allowed these priests to continue working with the people they were preying on. I guess they got PRAY mixed up with PREY.

Oh no with the stomachs and the wash face.

My stomach has been unhappy with me today as well. I am used to this experience when I eat too much sushi. Fish is easy to digest...when cooked. It's not the fish that my stomach is anti, it's the seaweed wrappers. That's why I nigiri more then anything else because yea no seaweed!!!!
