quidditchgrrl: (Oh Really? Jon is all like whatever!)

It's been very interesting watching The Daily Show this week. Jon's gone from amused irony to muted outrage.

Ta ta, Senator McCain, don't let the door hit your waffling ass on the way out.

Even crazier is the strange feelings I've had whenever I see Jon or Stephen now - once I started reading this fic, I'm seeing a whole new...dynamic.

I'm going directly to hell for just thinking what I'm thinking.

And also, they have Guys Gone Wild now, and for a split-second, I thought, "could I possibly hide something like that from Honeybunch?" *sigh* *hangs head* Probably not.

I'm not picking a darned color for feast at Lumos. Whatever.

Gah, I can't even manage to procrastinate properly. Must pack, stay sane.

*zooms away*

I thought that Guys Gone Wild was a joke the first time I saw the commercial. *g*

Guys Gone Wild is more successful than Girls Gone Wild -- according to the results of the direct response surveys and buying patterns. How's that for awesome?

What the heck is up with that "pick a color" thing, anyway? I assume we're all going to get to eat :P

When are you scheduledto hit Vegas? I'm arriving tomorrow night and staying the night at the Stratosphere. (I'm really excited about the Snape meetup, too!) *G*

My flight gets in around 10:30pm tomorrow, and we're at the Marriott.

I'm hitting the Strip early on Thursday, woot!

It's been an interesting couple of weeks, hasn't it? He's the only thing that's kept me sane. I've restricted my Middle East reading to bloggers who actually live in the region (and are living through the shit rather than going to nice comfy hotels at the end of the day) on both, and no side(s) of the conflict, and to watching Jon. So, the bloggers make me cry and Jon makes me laugh.

McCain could have been a stand up guy. I keep hoping he will find his voice and tell the wack jobs to insert it.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work like that, does it? Money talks.

We are all so scared of sounding like tin-hatters. It worries me that perhaps our being so socially conscious is exactly what that small group at the top is counting on.
