Other news?  Not much other news.  Going places, I guess.  Got in under the wire for smutty_claus (thanks to r_becca), and have a kick-arse fic to write.  Now to figure how to do that with the limited time I have.

My dad called yesterday.  He only calls if something bad has happened, he needs something, or he is 100% out of other things to do.  He's been off work for about 3 weeks with sciatica and back spasms (so, #3 on the list), and was wondering how I liked my new job.  Also, he's SO ready to go back to work, because he's "tired of all this loafing around."

He's 74, and works as a tool and die machinist.

Gee, I can't IMAGINE where I get my workaholism from.
