Wow, I've added a TON of people to my friendslist this past week. I typically page through newly-added journals, so don't be surprised if I leave comments on older entries. If you've added me and I haven't added you, buzz me and let me know.
It is going to take forever to read my friends' page. I've tried to filter, but I like to at least have a peripheral knowledge of what's going on with everyone. I'm a dork. :P

How I Know I'm a Grownup
1. I get so much more enjoyment watching kids open their presents than I do opening mine.
2. I put much more emphasis on character over coolness.
3. I know my IQ falls about 50 points if the other person is between 17-19 years old. It gradually returns to normal once the other person hits 21 or so.
4. The thought that I should buy a house has crossed my mind.
5. Two words: Roth IRA.
6. I've used the sentence "Just wait until you get older...then you'll understand."
7. I went from using Clearasil to Oil of Olay practically overnight.
8. I have made green bean casserole, and not just as a holiday side dish.
9. I am someone else's emergency contact. Several someones, actually.
10. My definition of friendship revolves around what I do for others, and not what they do for me.
Feel free to add to the list. Remember, it isn't "things that make you feel old" but "things that let you know you're a real grownup," and there is a difference.
