Dec. 2nd, 2003 08:00 pmThis year has been ever so crappy. My friends list certainly needs lots of positive thoughts and woefully inadequate virtual hugs.
*hugs flist* It's just not as good as the real thing, eh?
I'm doing Christmas cards for the rest of the evening. Have received so far one from my older sister and one from
mareisse and Munchkin. I <3 little kid writing. :-) Must put out the Christmas decorations. Bah.
Other than the cards and watching the kids open presents, I don't get into the Christmas spirit. I dunno what it is, but I don't get all sweet and gushy this time of year. I like to do nice things for people all year 'round. Maybe it's the fact that I can't bake cookies, at least not well. And I hate to be reminded of the fact that my family doesn't get together like we used to - i.e. before my mom died. The not being together is emphasized during this time of year, and it's depressing. Bah! Humbug!
ETA: Have made no-bakes! I wanted to make peanut butter cookies, but alas, no baking powder. But, no-bakes! :-d
