Have been strenuously working out for the past several days and I'm seeing some tangible results other than what the scale is telling me (three pounds in 5 days!). I have the cute little dimple in my cheek back and my face is a bit thinner. Now if it would just spread to the rest of my body...

Was very close to tears when the trainer and I were adjusting weight for the machines - I am only doing 50%-75% of the weight I used to lift when I worked out in college. Can only curl 25 lbs now. *cries* And the trainer kept going very light with the weights, which irritated me all the more. Hey, just because I'm fat, don't assume that I couldn't kick your ass, okay? Okay. Other than that, the gym I go to is great - all women, lots of different classes, pool, sauna and steam room - and best of all, my pappy paid for it as an early wedding present. *beams at dad*

Will be at water aerobics tonight, since my rump is too sore for the bikes right now.

Goal: Minimum 400 calories burned per day. Increase weights by 5 lbs in the next two weeks. Refrain from murdering trainer.
