Don't you hate it when you fall asleep early, only to wake up a couple hours later, unable to sleep at all?
Yeah, me too.
Did you all know that Wal-Mart doesn't stock all of their "package" panties together? Normally I avoid Wal-Mart like the anti-American corporation it is, but I needed a lot of stuff, and Wal-Mart does have that.
I find what I think is the packaged underwear section and start looking (I had to buy panties *tonight* because my older pairs go up under my arms now, and I can't hide them under my fat pants anymore...those fall to my knees) for my new size. No dice - I see sizes 10, 12, 14, 9. Nothing below size 8. I wander up and down the aisle, weighing my options.
After I'd captured an employee who happened to wander by, she looked at me a bit funny - "I can't find any smaller underwear!" - and directed me three aisles over, where the "Regular" sized underwear was. OF COURSE, the average woman's undies have their own aisle! We wouldn't want to put the "Hanes Her Way" near the "Just My Size", would we? Jeez. >.<
Adding to all of this was the screaming of at least half a dozen different children. At the top of their lungs, echoing off the walls and ceiling. The child-less/free people, we walked the aisles like the damned, cacophony all around us. I have come to the conclusion that it's not the children, it's the parents. My mother could crack your skull with a flick of her finger, and if we misbehaved, we left immediately and got whipped mercilessly. Is it so hard to teach your kids to be quiet? Or do you just not care that nearly everyone in the store wants to KILL you? Grr.
I should just avoid Wal-Mart, no matter how badly I want one-stop shopping.
I wish I had the patience to write out logical, coherent posts about my political stances. But
madlorivoldmort, she has reasoned this out better than I ever could have: Why drugs should be legalized
I just realized that I contradicted myself in one of my comments there. Pah. -.-
