New Community and the Usual Update
Jan. 7th, 2005 12:13 amIn the months leading up to the release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,
owl_hollow will be re-reading and discussing canon up to this point. We've just started, so come and join me,
authenticpoppy and the rest of the birds!
Starting the series again (with the intention of reading through them all instead of just my favorite bits from each book) has made me remember how much I love Harry without all of the fandom projection. It makes me happy.
Luckily, nothing much to note. Met with my new shelver (the one with Asperger's) and one of his coaches. I am much relieved - he gave positive answers to all of my concerns (whether or not he could handle NOT ordering every single thing, and how he would handle having 4 people who could potentially direct his work).
My problem shelver is about to drive me batty, though. Let's hope she listens to her parents, and quits. Because it's becoming evident that the administration here is not willing to give her firm working orders. Argh.
I've been considering creating a health journal a la Jacquie, Lea and Claire. But then again, I'm notoriously lazy about LJ-ing sometimes.
What do you all think? Oh look, a poll!
