The thing is, while I advocate laissez-faire capitalism, I don't actually think it can work in its pure form any more than communism can. I think we need the loyal opposition to exist for any government to work. When the loyal opposition dies you get dictatorships and oligarchies. Like you, I can agree with multiple POVs on one issue.

Speaking of cost/benefit ratio... KT is killing me. An article appeared in the Chicago Sun Times today. This weekend is going to be a nightmare at work. The really ironic thing is, he's not nearly as bad as at least one of the others. She's just evil and there is no excuse for it. I don't work when her stuff is on, which is rare, thank goodness. At least the company that sponsors her limits her unique brand of crazy to once or twice a week.
