quidditchgrrl: (I'm wagging my finger at you!)

Talk about a literal interpretation

We decided that Bernie (that's our 8-year-old puppy) could have a rawhide bone last night, since his ear is messed up anyway (they cause yeast infections in his ears) and he's been a good boy of late.

Poor me, for having to clean the floor, walls, doors, and cage of allll the poo that went flying last night. He didn't get any on himself - he must have turned in a 360* rotation - and the cage/blanket wasn't too bad.

Too bad, as in, they weren't dripping. >.o

My poor buddy...he's laying on the floor beside the couch, dozing, and I have errands to run so I can't pet him like he should be petted. :((

But, you know what? I had intended to sweep, mop and wax the kitchen floor yesterday, but only managed to get the half-bath clean (cleaning up the dog hair that accumulates in our kitchen/bath area can take 30 minutes alone!).

I think karma just sent me a couple of messages.

There's been quite a bit of drama at the Temple this week concerning the HVAC. Tuesday's group was hot and frustrated, but calm and "I hope we get this fixed soon!" Last night, OES called twice, ranting, then I got two more rants, then hung up on, followed by a nasty email.

I am sympathetic to their plight - the Masonic Temple in my hometown still doesn't have AC, so I understand sitting in a hot room in formal dress sucks - but they complain and whine and moan so much that you stop feeling sorry for them and just get pissed. Yet another incident to further solidify my conviction that I will never, EVER join OES. (I doubt they'd have me as they seem hellbent on alienating every person under the age of 50.)

At least the day can't get any worse, right? Right?

Projectile pooping is always bad :( *pets you and Bernie*

And when the Order of the Eastern Star members are too warm at the temple, they call you? *boggles*

Poor Puppy! :( I hope he's feeling better now.

Oh, no!

I had always believed rawhide to be a good thing for dogs, but when we got our Maggie and took her to the vet, she specifically said that rawhide was to be avoided as it upsets their tummies. What a bummer, especially since they love them so much!

Yikes. So not fun waking up to a shit fountain, is it? What a shitty start to the day.

Erm. Sorry. I'll stop now.

I'm thinking no more rawhides? My friend's dog used to love pig's ears, but I don't know if that would upset his tummy or not.

Poor you! and poor puppy! I hope he's feeling better now.

How are you? I am still lurking on LJ and reading, but not doing much in the way of journaling myself. I was thinking about something HP-related from a long time ago and for some reason I thought you might be of help.

Back when either the PoA movie came out (possibly the GoF movie, but I'm almost positive it's PoA) someone posted some pictures somewhere of the actors who play the Trio. It was some publicity photo shoot with the trio plus Draco and there were a few candid shots of the three boys staring almost goggle-eyed at Emma Watson while she stood with this "I know I'm hot" pose. Those pictures struck me as hilarious and I'm trying to find them again. Do you remember these pictures at all and have any idea where I might find them? I've already tried TLC and MuggleNet.
