He wasn't lying. He'd sent in $105 to pay half of the cable; it just hadn't posted. And everything else is paid up; he showed me. Ass-kicking Crisis averted!



Oh, and my cookies? Toll House recipe cookies are SUPPOSEd to be that way, all flat and crispy. The folks at work praised them to heaven. Yay karma! It was meant to be.

Ah, the "flat and crispy" part of the cookies is all to taste.

Personally, I prefer them a bit chewy and fluffy (hence the additional flour), but others do prefer them flat and crispy.

It's one of those recipes that you take and modify. :)
